10-item unidimensional scale measuring conspiracy beliefs about artificial intelligence, including beliefs that AI is used to control, monitor, manipulate, and destabilize human societies. Items are rated on a 7-point agreement scale. Note: these items also appear as the Conspiracy Beliefs subscale within the broader AI Attitudes and Perceptions Scale (AIAP) from the same paper; the AICM is the standalone extraction of that subscale as registered separately by APA PsycTests.
